9 Month Check-Up

Well, Catelyn went in for her nine month check-up today, and she did a great job. We had to continue with the dreaded shots, but fortunately there was only one today. She was such a big girl too. She cried for just a second, and then was all smiles again. The doctor is super pleased with how she is doing, and even said to go ahead and start her on whole milk! I'm very excited about this, considering milk is way cheaper than formula. Anyways, here are her stats:

Weight: 16 pounds

Height: 26 1/4

Head: 17

-Way to go sweet girl!!

Latest Milestones of 2008

I thought I would do a post to udpate you on all that Catelyn has accomplished in 2008. So far, it has been a big year for her. Here is a quick list of her latest mile stones.

Catelyn is:

-Eating finger foods

-Pulling up on everything, and has now figured out how to get back down. yea!

-Crawling

-Clapping her hands

-Can say Momma, Dadda, Nanna, and all kinds of quite interesting sound effects.

-Can successfully find (and put her finger in) her nostril. :)

-And as of yesterday... Catelyn has her first tooth coming in!!

She has been the biggest blessing ever to Will and I, and we've only had her for nine months. Who knows what the years have to bring, but they definitely look brighter knowing she is with us. We love you little girl!

I Love my Family!!!

This past Friday, I had to have some very minor surgery, so my wonderful mom and sister came to watch Catelyn so Will could go to the hospital with me. As it turned out, my dad and brother had some business in Birmingham. So... I had a very fun and unexpected suprise to have my whole family with me! It was so great getting to hang out with everyone, and to spend some time with my nephew. They all took very good care of me. Actually, I told them with that type of treatment, I should have surgery more often! haha!!! Thanks again sweet family, for loving on me so much!

Happy Valentines Day!!!

Growing so fast!

I think Catelyn hit a growth spert about two weeks ago, because all of the sudden her clothes are not fitting. Thank heaven for sewing! I must say....she looks SO cute!! :)
