A very sweet lady from our church very graciously gave me some wonderful fabric. It has been so much fun trying new patterns and making outfits for the kids. I can't even begin to express my appreciation to her sweet gift. Thank you Mrs. Sandra...you're the best!
Catelyn loves to cook!! Anytime I start to do something at the kitchen counter, she pushes a chair up from the table and wants to join in the fun. As long as it's something that won't hurt her, I LOVE having her in there with me. Yesterday, we decided to make banana pudding for Daddy when he came home. She was super excited about this, and did so great. She placed the cookies so meticulously. It was really cute!
I can't believe in only 12 more weeks, Tripp will be here. I'm not gonna lie...I'm ready! This pregnancy hasn't been bad, but it's been more uncomfortable than with Catelyn. I'm just trying to live up our time as a family of three and enjoy the sleep that I'm getting as long as I can. :)
Today, my wonderful sister-n-law came over and gave Catelyn a "big girl" haircut. She had only had her hair trimmed once before, so it was definitely time. Part of me was sad to see her long hair go, but she sure looks super cute with her new cut. She had about 3 inches cut off. Thanks again Rudy! :)
Starting the last week in December, Catelyn has been potty training. I am so proud of her...she is doing WONDERFUL!! We did it somewhat non-traditionally, in I let her stay in pull ups until she had a couple days of staying dry. Fortunately for me, Catelyn thought of her pull ups as big girl panties (although now when I put them on her to go to bed, she calls them her baby panties- they grow up so fast!). Anyways, the pull up phase lasted about a week, and since then she has been doing awesome! She has had two accidents on the play ground at school, but other than that- nothing! Such a proud mommy of my big girl!
We finally got a new computer (yay!!). So here are all the things I've been wanting to post since our old computer crashed.
Christmas Morning
Christmas Eve
Visit from Santa/ Uncle Lance.
Christmas Cuttie!
Tacky Christmas!
Catelyn had asked for some Nemo treats, to which I answered "no, not before dinner." Well, my sweet little girl took actions into her own hands. This is her trying to stack her way up to the upper cabinets to get her beloved treats. Fortunately, I found her before the climbing really began.
Catelyn's Thanksgiving at School.
Meeting Ann Wilson for the first time.
Catellyn found my panty drawer and put everything on she could find. It was hilarious, so I grabbed the camera.
Halloween: I made Catelyn a little cowgirl outift this year, and she was precious in it. Never could get her to wear the cowboy hat though.
