Tripp's School Christmas Program

I so love watching the kids do their school performances.  They are so proud and it totally melts my heart at how excited they are to see you in the audience.  Tripp did a great job and stood so still.  Well done Buddy!!

He's Growing Up

Tripp is big enough now that it is time to rid of the car seat and move up to a big boy booster seat.  He is beyond excited about this!  He's been asking for about the last month when he can get one, and today it the day!  Congrats big guy.  No more car seats in our car.  Wow!!

Buckling in his car seat for the last time!

The proud little boy!

Nannie and Pawpaw

Will and I and the kids went to go visit Nannie and Pawpaw tonight.  Nannie is about to go in for open heart surgery, so we wanted to spend some time with her and encourage and love on her.  Catelyn read them a story and Tripp snuggled with Nannie. It was sweet time and the kids enjoyed being with their great grand parents. :)

Christmas Tree

Our tree went up a little later than usual this year, but we finally got one up!  We had to do a "redo" on the lights though.  I originally tried putting the old school bulbs on the tree, but they got so hot I thought it was going to burn down the tree.  At one point, I actually thought the tree was catching fire.  I kept smelling this burning smell.  Turns out, Tripp put his plastic toy phone on the eye of the stove and turned the stove ON! He has never done that before! I heard this loud pop, ran in the kitchen and realized where the smell was coming from.  I was to on edge about the lights at this point, and decided to take them down and go with the safe option.  We still used colored lights (first time since we've been married).  Catelyn thought they were beautiful!  We finally got the tree decorated and we all decided it was a beautiful tree! :)

Choosing our tree.

The first set of lights.

Oh Christmas Tree...oh Christmas tree...

With all the presents under it. :)

SEC Championship

One of the perks of having a husband that works at the SEC is free tickets to championship games. :) This year Auburn and Missouri went head to head and Phil, Jackie and myself headed to Atlanta and the GA dome to cheer them on.  It was neat getting to be a part of it, and even cooler seeing Will down on the field doing his thing.

Back at the hotel.  I thought these little touches were pretty cool. :)

Christmas Pics and Kids Trees

On a spur of the moment whim, I decided I wanted to send out Christmas cards.  It was around 6:30 in the evening and Will was out of town.  I asked the kids if we could make a deal.  The deal was, they could choose three pieces of candy, if I could put clothes on them and take their picture on the fire place.  The deal was enthusiastically accepted.  They did a great job and I got some great shots.  A couple of days later the kids decorated their Christmas trees in their bedrooms.  Catelyn had disney princesses on hers and Tripp chose tractors. :)  Their trees looked awesome!

All She Wants for Christmas....

Is Her Two Front Teeth!!  Catelyn is loosing teeth right and left and it's adorable.  It seems like each day I pick her up from school she's smiling with another cute gap in her mouth.  I love how she's growing up and hitting all these fun mile stones.  :)
