First Day of 3K

Tripp is headed to his first day of 3 year old preschool today.  He is very excited about his Scooby gummy snacks, his juice box and getting to play on the play ground.  We met his teacher yesterday and he did so great!  Really looking forward to his school year getting started!  Have a great first day Trippy!

        

   

                           

The Tooth Fairy Came!!

At 6:45 this morning there was the loud pitter patter of excited feet when Catelyn came barreling down the stairs to show what the tooth fairy had left. It was priceless!!

Happy 33rd Birthday Daddy!

Two in the same weekend!!

Catelyn and Tripp went to visit Mamaw and Papaw over the weekend.  While they were there Catelyn lost her first tooth...then she lost her second tooth the NEXT day!  Mamaw said "she pulled them herself. Just reached in and yanked them out!" looks precious with her "snaggle tooth" (as Daddy calls it) grin.  Such an exciting and much anticapated mile stone.  She is so excited to see if the tooth fairy will leave her coins (as she calls them).  We'll see!!

First Grade

So proud of this little girl! She got up on her own this morning, picked out her clothes, got dressed, combed her hair and put on her shoes without a single bit of prompting. I think she's a bit excited about 
starting first grade today!  She's sporting her new pink, butterfly back pack with the attachable lunch box.  She picked it out all on her own and Loves it! Such a big kid- so proud!

Left Over Packing Paper

What do you do on a hot summer's day with tons of packing paper... jump in it of course!!  These two had a ball running, jumping, hiding and throwing the packing paper.  Proves once again how little they actually need to be entertained.  :)  Love my kiddos!!

First Library Card

Today Catelyn and I went over to the Vestavia Library, where Catelyn was able to get her very own library card.  To say she was excited is an understatement!  In order to get a card you have to be able to sign your full name.  She was so cute signing her name and then picking out books.  She does such a great job at reading and I hope she continues to grow in her love for books.  Congrats Catelyn on your library card... proud of you!!

In the children's area, they let you choose a key chain to put your card on when you get a library card.  Catelyn LOVED this and chose a dolphin key chain.  Here she is posing with her new cards and chain.
