Soccer

Both Catelyn and Tripp are playing soccer this year.  It's fun to watch them play and learn.  Catelyn has really improved from last year, and Tripp loves getting to kick the ball like his big sister. Catelyn seems to really enjoy playing with the other girls and is really starting to learn some ball skills.   Even though Tripp enjoys kicking the ball, I think his favorite part of soccer is sissy's practices.  There is a paved track around the field, so we take Tripp's big wheels (i.e. his "motor cycle") and he rides it non stop until practice is over.  Works for me...tires them both out. :)

Kentucky Game

This past weekend, I was able to travel with Will to Lexington, KY for the UK vs Louisville game.  I had the absolute best time!  It was so neat to see what Will does and be a part of it. It was also super neat to experience game day at a different school. Can't help but love the SEC- there is just so much excitement involved. We didn't get a picture together (shocking) but I did get some shots of the stadium.

Watching KY take the field from the press box.

Down Time

Catelyn and I sat on the deck this afternoon eating a little ice cream and reading.  It was so pleasant.  I snapped a few pictures of my beautiful little girl. :)

Sprinkler Fun

It may be September, but it's still hot!  The yard needed watering and the kids needed cooled off.  They had a ball taking advantage of the sprinkler. :)

Another One Bites the Dust

On Wednesday, I go to pick Catelyn up from school and she smiles up at me with an even more toothless grin!  I was shocked!  I couldn't believe she had lost ANOTHER tooth.  She said "it just came out."  She said her class mates ran over to check out her new lost tooth.  What I thought was hilarious though is that she said when she turns her head to the left her missing teeth form the letter L.  My sweet, creatively minded girl!  The tooth fairy made another appearance and her mind is racing with what she's going to buy. :)

Forming the letter "L" Ha!
