Craziness...We're Moving Again!

This University of Alabama girl is about to be singing "Rocky Top!" Will accepted a job at UT and we will be heading to Knoxville next month. We never would have thought this jump to the SEC would happen so quickly, but the Lord has blessed us in more ways than we could ever imagine. It has been one insane roller coaster ride, with more emotions than I could have ever thought possible, but it has been the ride of a life time! My parents and their families are both from Knoxville (and my dad is a UT graduate), so I grew up going there every year. I still have quite a bit of family there, along with some sweet friends, so it kind of feels like I'm going home. So...here's to the new adventure and Go Vols!! :)

Happy Valentine's Day!!! (Plus a Refashion Project)

I made Catelyn a skirt to wear to school for her Valentine's party yesterday. It's refashioned out of one of Will's old t-shirts and some scrap felt. I got the idea off of this blog and thought it was precious! I think she looks super cute in it too!

The beautiful tulips my sweet husband brought me.
I just love him. (sigh...)
The kids Valentine's goodies.
Such a happy boy playing with his new cars.

and new hair clips.

So sweet!

Heart Door Hanger and Pics of my Cuties

I'm kind of a DIY girl and love any opportunity to get to use a power tool. Fortunately, Valentines Day brought on just an occasion. I was driving by a house a few weeks ago, and noticed a huge heart on a person's front door and loved how festive it looked. Immediately I remembered a piece of scrap wood I had at home and instantly knew its destiny. So with the help of a jigsaw, sander and some paint....ta-da my very own giant heart door hanger. Yay!

And of course...what's a post without some really cute kids in it. We've had some unseasonably warm weather here in KY and have taken complete advantage of it by playing outside in the fabulous fresh air. Here are some pics of my sweeties. :)

Dressed in their p.j.s about to go to bed.
I could just eat them up! :)
