Happy Birthday Will!!

Today is Will's 32nd Birthday!  I am so thankful for him and all he does for our little family.  He's a super hard worker, a strong leader, a loving husband and an amazing father.  I hit the jack pot with this guy and I love him very much.  Happy Birthday Babe!!

Quality Time with my Girl!

Catelyn is on a staggered week of Kindergarten to try and ease the kids into "big" school.  Because of this, there wasn't school yesterday.  It actually worked out really nice.  She and I dropped Tripp off at school and then spent the rest of morning having some super fun one on one girl time. She and I VERY rarely get that kind of time together, so it was precious time.  We started it off by heading to the park so she could ride her bike and swing on the swings.  After that, we headed to the new Trader Joes to buy a few groceries.  She loved this because they have the child size grocery carts, so she felt like such a grown up.  After that we headed over to Target (her choice) to look at scooters and bikes, so that she can be thinking about which one to ask Santa for. :) From there we headed over to Hobby Lobby (a favorite of both of ours!!) and looked around at all the "stuff" and then to "The Cow" (aka Chick-fil-a) for some yummy lunch (also her choice).  It was such a fun morning, and knowing that she will be at school everyday from here on out, made it that much more special. 

First Day of Pre-School!

I'm so proud of my little guy!!  He did so great at school!  He is definitely more of a cuddle bug/ attached kiddo.  I was anticipating lots of tears and a heavy heart on my part dropping him off at school this morning, but fortunately...he did awesome!!  He was a bit timid as we walked in class, but he found some cars and blocks that some other little boys were playing with and I was able to slip out without any tears! YAY!!!  I really like his school and just like with Catelyn, I'm super excited about this year and all he'll learn.  

All ready to go!!  He was cracking me up with his back pack on!  I guess he thought it was going to fall off, because he kept hunching over and pressing his arms together.  This kid cracks me up! :)

The back pack!  He is really in to cars and trucks right now, so he has been so excited about this bag and has been carrying it around since we got it a few weeks ago.  Ha!

First Day of Kindergarten!!!

Today my baby girl started Kindergarten.  She was so excited!! I went in to wake her up this morning, and she immediately smiled and said "school!!!" She was too cute- yesterday she picked out what she wanted to wear and had everything (down to the last detail- bow, socks, panties, etc) all laid out and ready to go.  The drop off went really well.  Tripp and I walked in with her where her teacher Mrs. Duke met her with a big hug.  Catelyn walked straight over to her classmates and sat down with a big smile.   Tripp and I headed back to the car, but he was a bit confused and kept calling for Sissy and wanted to know where she was.  It was sweet.  I was doing really well until about half way home, where I completely lost it.  Fortunately me sweet husband was still at home and he let me cry on his shoulder.  I never would have thought I would have been the type that would cry at something like this...boy was I wrong. Ha!  I'm so excited for Catelyn, and can't wait to see what this year has in store for her.  I know she will do aweseome!!!!
