My friend Laura, taught me how to pleat, smock and sew a smocked dress- and today I finished it! Yea!! I can't wait to see Catelyn in it come Sunday morning. I messed up on a few parts, but I'm pleased with how it turned out, and I really enjoyed the process. I can't wait to do the next one. Thanks Laura for teaching me. You're the best!!

Hope everything is okay for y'all ... just wondering, since there hasn't been a recent update. We have had higher water today from Ike than we did from Gustav last week. Weldon has been sick and missed 2 days of work this week, so we won't be going to Oxford for the Ole Miss-Samford game. Darcy and Peter will be there. Richard will go if he isn't in Montevallo with Phil or in Starkville with Bill. Take care!
